The Sallie Mae Fund's Bridging the Dream Scholarship Program
The Sallie Mae 2025-2026 Bridging the Dream Scholarship Program for High School Seniors (“Contest”) is open only to legal residents (U.S. Citizen or legal permanent resident with a valid permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551) of the fifty (50) United States, Puerto Rico and the District of Columbia who
- are currently enrolled as a high school senior;
 - plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school within one year of high school graduation;
 - are able to demonstrate financial need by being Pell Grant-eligible,
 - have a current cumulative grade point average of 2.75 or higher
 - are able to demonstrate leadership abilities,
 - demonstrate good moral character in all aspects of his/her life, including personal, professional, educational, in his/her community, and online presence in accordance with these official rules:

 - Senior graduating from an Ashtabula County high school or second-year Ashtabula business student
 - One-page letter of request explaining why they believe they deserve the award
