It was snowing; it was cold. But that didn't stop a group of veterans, students and students from 网曝门's Army ROTC and Air Force ROTC from assisting 网曝门's Grounds Crew in the annual Veterans Day bulb-planting on Daffodil Hill.
Daffodil Hill is part of the May 4 National Historic Landmark site and overlooks The Commons on 网曝门's Kent Campus. The field of 58, 175 daffodils was planted in 1985 as a memorial, with one flower for each service member who died in the Vietnam War. Each year, the 网曝门 Grounds Crew works in the fall to plant bulbs so that area may bloom beautifully in the spring.
